Behind

As many of you already know, I have fallen behind in casting your orders. This is because of the perfect storm of me out ill for a week and being by myself here. I am working to catch up, however, so please be patient.

What Is Going On

It has been quite sometime since I last wrote anything here. To be honest, I am still catching up from being ill for a week and from a family emergency I had to deal with. However, things are looking better and I should have orders caught up in a week or two.

The Fax

Just to let everbody know, our Fax line is no more. . .it has ceased to exist. . .it has gone the way of the Dodo. So please do not try to fax us anything because it will not go through. You can e-mail me or call me by phone.

Goings On

Okay, there is a MAJOR problem with our current website. So until this issue is settled, I will email customers when I recieve their order to let them know I have it in hand and is in the que for casting. If you do not recieve an email, let me know.

The LaSalle packs will soon be available to purchase. With our local LaSalle affectionados, we are honing what be included in the first packs. If you just can't wait, email me and I will try to meet your LaSalle needs.

PICTURES. . .send them to me. I would love to see what you guys paint.

Convention Time

Genghis Con starts today and as a result, I will not be at Game Figures. I am slowly catching up with orders with a little help from my friends and I hope to be at the week turn-around point soon.

If you are awaiting an exchange, I should be getting those out this up coming week. We are also expecting this week the long-awaited high-speed internet connection that this business really needs.

We are also working on getting stuff on our website, including more product pictures.

Differences

I wanted to let customers know that sometimes there are differences in packaging between the UK Minifigs and the one here in the U.S.. For example, our old west figures are packaged in different numbers than those in the U.K. So, if you see something illustrated on the U.K. website, it doesn't mean that it is included in the U.S. version of that pack.

Turn Around Time

Well, as you may have noticed, the turn around time for orders has slowed a bit. That, in part, is becuase it is nearly a one-man show now. If you place an order, please expect about a two-week turn around. For Stores, it will range from 2 to 4 weeks. I hope to be a much more effecient machine in the future.

One thing I hope to have up on the website is a "GFI Picture Of The Month." Each month I will pick the best picture of a minifig/GFI product ad the winner will receive a $20.00 gift certificate as well as their photo posted and bragging rights. I hope to post those photos on TMP as well.

I wanted to create a blog so all our customers can see news of upcoming products, to voice opinions and comments and just generally to get to know us.

This will also be a place to show off some of your work. Pick you best picture and I will try and get it posted.
